'You've Fallen for Me' Staff Desperate Because of Kang Min Hyuk

The production team of MBC's new drama 'You've Fallen for Me' doesn't know what to do about C.N. Blue's Kang Min Hyuk. It can't be helped. No matter how hard the staff tries to make him look unkempt, Kang Min Hyuk still looks stylish, in any outfit.

For MBC's 'You've Fallen for Me', starring C.N. Blue's Jung Yong Hwa and Park Shin Hye, C.N. Blue's drummer, Kang Min Hyuk, has taken over the role of Yeo Joon.
Although he's become the leader of the handsome band of The Stupid, Yeo Joon is a glutton who likes to wear sportswear not caring about his outer appearance.

In order to portray this character credibly, the staff members of 'You've Fallen for Me' have done their best to make Kang Min Hyuk look disheveled. However, no matter what outfit he put on, it suit him perfectly, and he looked as stylish as ever.
 

"At first we thought that we could dress him with just a neck wear sportswear or T-shirt, but the production team discovered that no matter what clothes Kang Min Hyuk wore, they all suit him well, and we don't know what to do. We had to prepare to maximize the costumes of Kang Min Hyuk's character in order to be ready to go into filming", one of the staff members stated.

Meanwhile, MBC will start airing 'You've Fallen for Me' on 29th June.

Details for Dream High's OST Japanese Version Revealed

Dream High's popularity in Japan has been pretty good after the drama has aired there. Now the drama OST will be released in Japan as well. The album will contain the same songs presented on the Korean one, plus the Japanese versions of them. 'Dream High Original Soundtrack Japanese Premium Edition' is set to be released on July 27th on a limited and normal edition that will include a recording video or random trading card. The songs that will be introduced in Japanase will be 'Dream High', 'My Valentine', 'If' and 'Dreaming', sadly the tracks performed by IU, Sunye, Suzy, Junsu and 2AM do not have a new version.

‘Dream High’

KBS Drama ‘Dream High,’ which is currently 1st in it’s time slot, has caught the attention of many when it was recently revealed that the set of the drama costs nearly $800,000 USD. Normally, a set of a drama costs around $200,000 – $300,000 USD, showing an extremely big gap for Dream High. The set of ‘Dream High,’ which is located in Kyungkido Goyangsi Ilsan, didn’t remodel the Girin High School that was already there but instead built a brand new two-story building. Including interior designing, and the construction cost the set was to have cost nearly $800,000 USD. Meanwhile, the set of ‘Dream High’ will be open for fans to visit once the drama ends.

"Dream High" takes place at Kirin High School of Art and follows the lives of students as they aspire to become superstars.

Song Sam-Dong (Kim Soo-Hyun) lives in the country side and dreams of becoming an owner of a stock farm. He falls in love with Ko Hye-Mi (Bae Suji) at first sight and follows her to Kirin High School of Art. There he discovers his genius like musical talent.

Jin-Gook (TaecYeon) is a gifted dancer, but a troubled student at school. The director of Kirin High School of Art ((Bae Yong-Jun)) recommends to Jin-Gook to enroll at his school. There, Jin-Gook's talents blossom and he now dreams of becoming a global star.

Exchange student Jason (Wooyoung) comes to Kirin High after receiving the top score for new applicants. He comes from abroad and shows outstanding skills as a dancer.

Ko Hye-Mi (Bae Suji) is the most popular girl at Kirin High. She carries herself as a confident girl, but inside hides a sad past. She dreamed of becoming a world renown classical vocalist, but after the collapse of her family she had no choice but to enter Kirin High School of Art. She is loved by Song Sam-Dong and Jin-Gook.

Yoon Becky (Eun Jung) looks up to Ko Hye-Mi, who appears to have everything. They soon become rivals.

Eria (Yoon Young-Ah) is a popular teen star. She enters Kirin High School of Art and becomes the object of admiration by her peers. She looks forward to having a "regular" school life.

“Dream High” attracts a divided response after first airing

KBS 2TV’s “Dream High” finally aired its pilot episode today, but seems to be off to a rocky start with several controversies stemming from just the pilot airing alone.

The episode managed to record 10.7% in viewer ratings, lagging behind SBS’s “Athena: Goddess of War” and MBC’s “Queen of Reversals,” both of which recorded 16.3% and 14.2% respectively.

Prior to the pilot’s airing, viewers were highly concerned over the all idol cast line-up, since half of them don’t have prior acting experience.  Opinions on the drama remain divided, and at the center of the controversy stands miss A’s Suzy, who plays the role of ‘Hyemi.’

Since she is the leading role for the drama, viewers were left disappointed with her poor acting skills and criticized her for speaking as if she was reading out of a book.  2PM’s Wooyoung, who plays the role of ‘Jason,’ was also criticized for his awkward facial expressions despite only having to say a handful of lines.

Viewers commented, “It was to the point where I couldn’t even continue watching,” “She’s the queen of horrible acting,” “In her group, Suzy is in charge of the visual, and it seems like she’s trying to raise viewer ratings with her face again,” and “They’re not even ready to be standing in front of the screen.”

In comparison, T-ara’s Eunjung and 2PM’s Taecyeon both received high remarks, as they both have acting experience from “Coffee House” and “Cinderella’s Sister” respectively.

It was also IU’s first acting debut, but she fortunately managed to dodge criticisms as she only appeared wearing an animal suit for the majority of her part.

Regarding the controversy surrounding Suzy’s acting, Eunjung spoke with Star News on January 4th and commented, “Suzy’s doing well despite it being her first time acting.  I have a lot of lines with her so I pay close attention to her acting.  She’s confidently trying to do her best. It’s inevitable for her to feel nervous, and although strict criticisms are needed, please continue to watch over her.”

Kim Hye Su Personally Picked DongHo For "Villain on the Second Floor"

U-Kiss' Dongho is making his movie debut in the "Villain on the Second Floor." His role is an arrogant middle school student who the main character's daughter pines for.

Kim Hyesu, who is the main character of the movie, handpicked Dongho for the part. Dongho commented, "I'm so nervous because it's my first time acting. I'm honored to be working with Han Sukgyu and Kim Hyesu. I want to become as great as they are so I could act with them again."

Good Luck Dongho! I'm pretty sure this movie will be a big hit.

Jang Geun Suk and Moon Geun Young looking lovely on set of “Mary Stayed Out All Night”

Never-before-seen cuts of KBS 2TV’s latest drama, “Mary Stayed Out All Night,” were recently revealed.

Being of the same age and having previous work experience as child actors, Jang Geun Suk and Moon Geun Young share a special relationship.

Regarding Jang Geun Suk, Moon Geun Young commented, “Geun Suk has a lot of interest in acting. He’s always livening up the set atmosphere and we connect on a lot of levels so I’m learning a lot from him.”

Jang Geun Suk complimented back, “Geun Young is always respectful, bowing and greeting the staff members before anyone else. She has a lot of energy in that small body of hers. She’s such a bright, strong friend that being with her makes me feel better.”

Other staff members that observed the two commented, “Just looking at them, anyone can tell that they’re a lovely couple. They both help everyone feel comfortable on set and maintain a happy atmosphere.”
